Speech-Language Services-Therapy Designs
The Communication Spot's goal is to improve the quality of life and increase the potential for each child served. The Communication Spot also wants to educate parents, so they feel confident in their ability to help their child make progress with communication skills.
Therapy plans include speech-language pathologist (SLP) directed intervention with parent consultation, or therapy may be designed with the SLP modeling speech/language activities and guiding parents, so parents may use the interventions daily. Social Buddy Groups with siblings or with other age/skill appropriate clients may be part of a therapy plan.
The Communication Spot provides an environment where children can have fun, while receiving quality evidence-based speech-language therapy.
Therapy services may be provided at our office, in homes, and at daycare sites/private schools, as allowed.Therapy may be scheduled for 30 minute, 45 minute or hour sessions.
